Why is exercise important?
We all know just how important it is that we keep our bodies active if we wish to live a long and healthy life, so just why do we need regular exercise anyway?
First off, let's talk about why it is mega important to pencil in bouts of exercise during the week.
Here are 3 benefits to exercise straight off the bat.
1 - improved heart and lung health (cardiovascular system)
2 - releases "feel good" chemicals in the brain
3 - fights stress, depression, anxiety and a huge list of other mental AND physical illnesses and problems. It can also help fight the symptoms of the common cold, which in this day and age is very hard to avoid!
